Technology
Thursday morning in the week before the meeting, 10 am, on Zoom unless advised otherwise. Two hours: an informal discussion of issues raised by members, then an interactive presentation. The convenor chairs the first hour.
This is the oldest group. It began as the Computer Interest Group and was renamed in July 2018, once the brief had widened past machines that now mostly work.
Past sessions have covered electric cars, engineering failures, artificial intelligence, the Musk legacy and humanoid robots.
