Probus is for active senior members of the community who are retired or semi-retired. The point is regular company, wider interests, and the fellowship of new and old friends. New members and visitors are always welcome, and the club provides a relaxed setting to stay active, meet people, and enjoy good company.

Four ways the month is spent

The Wollongong Probus Club Inc. is a men's club for seniors in the Wollongong area. A morning meeting, a day out, a show, and the groups that meet in between. Wives and friends are invited to join in many of our activities, and visitors are very welcome at the club.

Fourth Monday

Meeting

Tea first, then club news, a short member talk, and a guest speaker for the second hour. The hall has a public address system and off-street parking.

Outing

A place of interest, finished in a day by train, bus or car pool. A group can justify a guide, and some visits are only open to one.

Local first: Arcadians, IPAC, Wollongong Town Hall. Selected Sydney shows when they are worth the trip.
